About the Artist
Alyson Bahr moved to Lake Waccamaw, NC in 2009 - land of lizards, alligators, and inspiration. Those same words might metaphorically express her art and artistic career, one in which she endured many starts and stops as "life happened." But now, she has come to a place that artistically allows her to marry many decades of love, creativity, and discovery. As in her earliest remembrances of making art, she uses any surface she can find as her canvas, and powerfully brings her memories to life.
